Welcome to DSCL
At the Dynamics, Sensing, and Controls Laboratory (DSCL) of University of Connecticut, we aim at the advancements of scince and technologies for the better, safer, and more sustainable operation of various systems. Our research interests are:
• Sensing and monitoring, signal processing, data analytics
• Optimization and robust design
• Smart materials and smart structures, mechatronics
• Modeling, analysis, and uncertainty quantification of complex processes
Our research projects are funded by federal agencies and industrial companies, including NSF, AFOSR, AFRL, DHS, NASA, ONR, ARM, Army, DARPA, Pratt & Whitney, United Technologies Aerospace Systems, GE, Gerber, Sperry Rail Services, and Stanley Black & Decker, etc.
